Whenever I go do my laundry at my chosen laundromat on Dovercourt Road just north of Hallam Street, I always head down to 77 Food Market on the corner. Sometimes, I pick up sundries there; sometimes, in warmer weather, I just go look at the flowers on display, ready for sale by the sidewalk, arranged neatly on banks of old milk crates.
