[URBAN NOTE] Gerrard India Bazaar

I went to Gerrard India Bazaar district, on Gerrard Street east of the Don River, with friends this afternoon. Much fun was had with brunch at The Famous Indian Cuisine (1437 Gerrard Street East) and browsing Indian supermarkets and music stores. Myself, I enjoyed seeing the 22-karat gold jewellery on display in the store windows, so much closer to the platonic ideal of gold (yellower, shinier) than the adulterated golds that I'm personally more familiar with.
