rfmcdonaldI've had the good fortune to read an uncorrected proof of Canadian science-fiction writer Robert J. Sawyer's novel Foreigner, the third and final book in the Quintaglio Trilogy. Brief reaction? He's certainly no prose stylist, but Foreigner is an excellent novel of ideas.
