[BRIEF NOTE] On the Canadian Election
May. 20th, 2005 09:36 pmCBC Newfoundland and Labrador's coverage of the recent budget vote that left the existing Liberal minority government in power is fairly representative of the reaction in the Canadian press. The margin was exceedingly slim--153 votes for the amended budget, 152 against--but it was enough to avert a collapse of the Martin government for the time being.
Myself, I think that the Liberals are corrupt and that there should be a new election. I just want Bill C-38 to be passed first.
