[NON BLOG] Last Night's Debauchery

raphinou at Dundas and Spadina, which, as he notes, is the nucleus of Toronto's downtown Chinatown. Enjoyable Thai was had at Chieng Mai Thai Cuisine (147 Baldwin Street), followed later by drinks and onion soup at The Bishop and the Belcher (361 Queen Street West). Great fun was had, chatting about English/Taglog and Russian/Ukrainian codeswitching, Filipino popular culture, correcting my French, talking about mutual friends and acquaintances and Austronesian historical linguistics, and playing the 0-1-2 game. Shopping for chinoiserie was also fun, especially since raphinou bought a good example of said.
