It's time the Canadian government took a leaf from the American playbook. Canada has never formally raised the issue of damage being done to our country by lax U.S. gun laws. Our ambassador hasn't given speeches; our Prime Minister has not brought up the issue in meetings with the President. Our officials have not briefed U.S. media (as U.S. administration officials regularly do with Canadian media) on the threat of the current U.S. course of action in this area. We haven't threatened border delays.
