I met up with [livejournal.com profile] angelevangeline for an evening of Woody's last night. Before arrival, fun was had acquiring fourth Artemis Fowl novel and watching some breakdancers try to work a deadened crowd at Yonge and Dundas; after, watching the various pop videos on Woody's TVs, noting the pervasive presence of Linda Perry and the similar bone structures of Kylie and Dannii. Fun was had.

I played the 0-1-2 game with [livejournal.com profile] angelevangeline. Originally developed by [livejournal.com profile] raphinou and [livejournal.com profile] senhor, the 0-1-2 game's players argue over how attractive, or not, a particular individual within their purview is. A 0 means mutual agreement about the subject's unattractiveness; a 2 means agreement; a 1 means disagreement. There were some 2s at Woody's last night.

It's a simple enough game, and yet I wonder if there might not yet be some room for improvement. What choice, for instance, are you left with if you think that someone was of one lukewarm attractiveness or another? Making this game the 0-1-2-3 game might make it more playable.
