I felt older when I passed through the grounds of Victoria University on Charles Street and saw the new students arriving at the dorms, worried parents and their minivans nearby. Thirty minutes later, while I was waiting for a Dufferin bus that wasn't on a dedicated express run south to the Canadian National Exhibition, the Snowbirds flew overhead with their typical roaring precision.
