I've had a perplexing exchange of comments with posters over at the Family Scholars Blog, where the argument is being seriously advanced that refusing to enter into a heterosexual relationship necessarily implies contempt for the opposite gender. There's certain basic principles involved that I just don't get, that, in fact, only initiates into this specialized realm of blogospheric discourse get. Can someone explain this to me?
