bonoboboy at This Ain't the Rosedale Library (483 Church Street), an artist came to mind. I had all the relevant biographical details, but no name. I even recruited the clerk, to no avail.
"Young, gay, died in 1990, did a lot of naive work, babies, associated with Warhol and Basquiat, I think his first name might have been 'Keith' ... ?"
The answer, I know now, is Keith Haring.
