I've known for a while that, as a rule, I don't like getting messages--E-mail, telephone, mail. I'm not altogether sure why this is the case: I apparently was scared, as a toddler, by the telephone operator when I picked up the phone, but would the legacy of that scolding last that long?

I say this, now, because as it stands, I've got a half-dozen E-mail messages to send off, waiting on my desktop at home, and another two on my cell. I'll get to them sooner or later, hopefully sooner, quite possibly later. We'll see.
