Beaconsfield Historic House, on the western fringes of downtown Charlottetown by Victoria Park, is one of the nicer small attraction in Charlottetown. Built, as Yelp notes, in 1877 by an Island shipping magnate, it remains a a great example of state-of-the-art, high-end, upper-class residential construction in late 19th century Prince Edward Island.
